Privacy Policy

Effective date: 7 June 2026

Atrium is a desktop app that personalizes the sound on your computer. It's built on one principle: your hearing is yours. Everything Atrium does happens on your own device.

The short version

What Atrium processes

To do its job, Atrium reads the audio your computer is playing, applies your personalized equalization and spatial processing, and plays the result to your headphones. This happens entirely in memory, in real time. No audio is ever written to disk, recorded, or sent over a network.

What Atrium stores (locally, on your device)

Atrium keeps the following on your own computer so it can remember your setup between sessions:

This information is stored in Atrium's local application storage. It is never uploaded, never shared, and never leaves your device. You can erase all of it at any time from Settings → Privacy → Delete all data, or by uninstalling the app.

Hearing & health data

Atrium's tests measure aspects of your hearing to tune your sound. These results are personal and stay on your device. Atrium is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice or diagnosis. If you have concerns about your hearing or tinnitus, please consult a qualified audiologist.

Third parties

Atrium does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. It does not share any data with third parties, because it does not collect any data to share.

Children

Atrium is a general-audience audio utility and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will ship with the app and be dated above. Because Atrium collects nothing, material changes are unlikely.
